Lottotrix lottery system guide – page 6
Question: “To win a major lottery jackpot,
where do we start ?”
To win a major lottery jackpot, we need to start somewhere. But contrary to popular believes, starting off with a split wheel that guarantees us three winning numbers doesn’t bring us any closer to the 6 magical numbers we want. (I think I just proved that !)
I also proved that most lottery tickets lose the jackpot at the very beginning of the draw. Logically, any attempt to win a small prize while simultaneously reducing our chances to survive the early stages of the draw is not a good starting point.
Our strategy must be exactly
the opposite !
This week, Pamela will try out a free “pen and paper” lotto wheel she found on lottotrix.com : “wheel 20 numbers : at least one of your tickets is guaranteed to match 2 winning numbers, if both winning numbers are among the 20 numbers you entered. It only takes 16 tickets !”

Is this a wheel for the stupid?
“Why would anyone consider to wheel 20 numbers (16 tickets – 2 winning numbers) while one has the option to wheel the same amount of numbers in exactly 10 tickets with a better guarantee (3/6) ?”
I’ll show you why !
Pamela knows that this lottery wheel offers a lot more than just keeping an illusionary promise. (Note : she wheels the same numbers Tommy entered in the split wheel)
Pamela’s nrs : | 27 | 34 | 38 | 02 | 40 | 20 | 17 | 33 | 04 | 35 | 11 | 14 | 29 | 07 | 10 | 12 | 31 | 23 | 08 | 25 |
Ticket 01 = 11 – 20 – 27 – 29 – 31 – 34 Ticket 02 = 12 – 23 – 25 – 27 – 35 – 38 Ticket 03 = 02 – 08 – 11 – 17 – 27 – 33 Ticket 04 = 04 – 07 – 10 – 14 – 27 – 40 Ticket 05 = 08 – 10 – 23 – 29 – 34 – 38 Ticket 06 = 02 – 04 – 07 – 17 – 29 – 34 Ticket 07 = 07 – 17 – 33 – 34 – 35 – 40 Ticket 08 = 04 – 12 – 14 – 25 – 33 – 34 Ticket 09 = 02 – 10 – 20 – 33 – 35 – 38 Ticket 10 = 07 – 11 – 23 – 31 – 38 – 40 Ticket 11 = 04 – 14 – 17 – 20 – 23 – 38 Ticket 12 = 02 – 14 – 25 – 29 – 35 – 40 Ticket 13 = 02 – 12 – 23 – 29 – 31 – 33 Ticket 14 = 07 – 08 – 12 – 20 – 25 – 40 Ticket 15 = 10 – 11 – 12 – 17 – 25 – 31 Ticket 16 = 04 – 08 – 11 – 14 – 31 – 35 |
In the lottery shop around the corner, Pamela validates her tickets. And two days later, she and her husband, Tommy, are watching the live lotto draw.
- The first winning number appears…
…number 11. (the age of their dog Polky !) - Then follows the second lottery ball…
…and it’s number 08. (the age of their cat Napoleon !!!)
Two of her favorite numbers are drawn, so Pamela knows for sure that at least one of her tickets holds both winning numbers (in this case ticket 3 and ticket 16). No jackpot is won yet, but two of Pamela’s tickets already survived the most critical moment of the draw. With 4 balls to go,…
… a better start than this does not exist !
But wait… it gets even better…
Each possible pair of 2 numbers out of Pamela’s 20 numbers (20 nrs = 190 possible pairs) will be located on one of her tickets. So, if the 6 winning numbers are among Pamela’s 20 numbers, this will happen…
- the 3rd and 4th winning ball will be located on one of her 16 tickets.
- the 5th and 6th winning ball will be located on one of her 16 tickets.
“One of her 16 tickets” doesn’t mean “one of her other tickets”, so “one of her 16 tickets” might as well be one of the tickets that already matched the first 2 winning numbers – ticket 3 or ticket 16 – which means:
the jackpot!
Worst case scenario…
There are 15 possible pairs from 6 winning numbers:
[1st-2nd] | [2nd-3rd] | [3rd-4th] | [4th-5th] | [5th-6th] |
[1st-3rd] | [2nd-4th] | [3rd-5th] | [4th-6th]
[1st-4th] | [2nd-5th] | [3rd-6th]
[1st-5th] | [2nd-6th] | |||
[1st-6th] |
If the 6 winning numbers are among the 20 numbers you wheeled, this wheel is set up in such a way that at least 2 of these pairs will be located on one ticket, which means:
worst case scenario = 3 or 4 winning numbers on one ticket!
Important conclusion:
Starting off with a strategy that optimizes our chances to survive the early stages of the draw not only brings us closer to the 6 winning numbers we want, that same strategy will ALWAYS result in having a better chance to win a lower-tier prize as well (in this case, that chance was 100 %).
This lottery wheel guaranteed us to survive the draw of the first 2 winning numbers. On the next page, let’s analyze a lottery wheel that goes even beyond that…
